TIME: Saturday 3rd of July – Saturday 10th of July. Arrival day 3rd of July.

Green Action - Lista 2010 – the campsite

Lista is located South in Norway, in an area consisting of modern agriculture,
cultural heritage and spectacular nature. Enjoy the open landscape with long, sandy beaches and slopes of naked rock. The Lista landscape and nature show signs of the powerful forces of wind and ocean. It is also famous for its numerous and well preserved stone fences and stone clearings.
The national jamboree gives opportunities to experience the powerful fjords and mountain regions, and the surroundings offer excellent hiking trails.

Travel from Europe and overseas

By air: Kristiansand airport, Kjevik, is located two hours (by car) from the campsite. Stavanger airport, Sola, has more frequent flights and is a two and a half hours drive away. Other international airports are Oslo Gardermoen (6h), and Torp, Sandefjord (4h).

By land: There are also ferries leaving from Hirtshals and
Hanstholm in Denmark arriving at Kristiansand.

The jamboree will not provide any transportation, but we will help you to get in touch with bus companies e.g. If you arrive Norway earlier than the given date, we will try to help arrange for accommodation for you and your party. After signing up we will therefore request your itinerary.

International participation

At our last National Jamboree in 2006, 400 international guests attended. We hope to see even more international participants in 2010. We will try our best to do the arrangements for home hospitality or host groups if wanted. Groups that are signing up for the jamboree will get a detailed list
of what to bring.
